Security:
When sending or receiving sensitive information such as credit card
numbers and other personal information, we automatically direct users
to our secure transaction server. Secure credit card donations may
be made via any browser supporting the "https" security
protocol. If your browser does not support https, you will get an
error message when trying to access the credit card order form. Our
secure server can send and receive private information across the
public Internet. Information is scrambled utilizing the Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption process from Verisign before it is
sent from the individual's computer over the Internet.
Credit Card Transactions:
When making a credit card transaction with KB, any financial information
you send to us will be saved with our banking records for verification
of deposits and handling of refunds. Other information, such as your
name and mailing address, will never be shared with or sold to third-parties
outside of KB. If you wish to be removed from such lists, write to
the above postal address with your request, along with your name and
e-mail address.
Information About You:
Most of the information we collect on our website tracks items such
as browser and platform statistics and overall traffic patterns, not
personal information. Any browser and web traffic statistics collected
are completely anonymous, and in no way can be correlated to personal
information you provide when making purchases. However, we may specifically
ask for information about you when you make a purchase or request additional
information from us. This information will be used solely for the purposes
of completing your purchase or providing you with additional information
about KB or our products.
